Nutrition Classes
Initial Nutrition Assessment
An initial one-hour appointment includes a complete assessment and analysis of your current diet. Together, a realistic plan of action, based on readiness, level of understanding, goals and motivation will be developed.
Follow-up Nutrition Appointment
Follow-up sessions will help you reach and maintain your nutritional health. Continue with your nutrition plan, with important follow-ups to reassess your nutrition status, goals, and changes. These appointments provide you with reinforcement and accountability toward your health and fitness goals.
Nutrition Check-ins
These shortened appointments will keep you motivated and provide individualized accountability for the week to come! These are for the client who prefers to have weekly appointments, for the best accountability and nutrition reinforcement.
Family Nutrition Education
An initial one-hour appointment includes a full assessment of the family’s nutritional needs. Goal setting will continue with follow-up sessions. Family combinations include couples or parents with a child.
Nutrition Services
Medical Nutrition Therapy
Medical nutrition therapy (MNT) provides assessment and nutritional diagnostic, therapy and nutrition counseling. MNT is provided to patients with an illness, injury, or diet-related condition or disease, in order to benefit the patient's own health. MNT includes setting goals for the patient's treatment and developing a specialized nutrition prescription that includes patient education and self-management training. MNT, which is also called therapeutic nutrition, has become an increasingly important component of integrated health-care systems. Please note: if you have a medical condition that requires Nutrition Therapy you will need a physician order before proceeding with a nutrition appointment.
